Frameworks

NPA’s frameworks are free-to-use and can be used by local authorities, social landlords and other public sector bodies to procure works, products and services for the construction, refurbishment and maintenance of social housing and public buildings.

How Frameworks Work

Frameworks are umbrella agreements that set out the specification, quantity, quality, price and other requirements of building contracts. Suppliers compete through open competition to be appointed to a framework. Publicly funded bodies then access the suppliers that have successfully met the framework criteria by “calling off” individual contracts.

Frameworks can be used by local authorities, social landlords and other public sector bodies to procure works, products and services for the construction, refurbishment and maintenance of social housing, schools and public buildings. Legislation governs the way frameworks are run.

All public sector organisations can gain access to our industry leading frameworks, technical assistance and procurement support services.
